Initial Meeting

Your initial meeting will take place with April Connors, our representative, the prospective homeowner and their agent (if applicable). In this meeting we will cover…

  • A detailed explanation of the home building process.

  • A review of the clients location choice and requirements.

  • The beginning discussions of the clients home design; whether that be a Custom Home or a Classic Home.

  • A discussion about budget and financing options.

 

Lot Feasibility

Once your location has been chosen, the client and our team will begin the evaluation process. Prior to this meeting there is a non-refundable fee. This evaluation will include paying special attention to the home placement, views, natural landscaping and the overall difficulty that the topography may bring to the build process. After all of these things have been discussed and all parties are in agreement to move forward, we will then advise the client to purchase the land and we can move on to the next stages of the project!

 

Design

During the design discovery stage, our team will work with you to expertly bring the vision of your new home to life. This stage may vary in length depending on the size of the home and the uniqueness of the design. What we will concentrate on in this meeting

  • Meeting with our design team to understand your needs, wishes and lifestyle.

  • Develop a conceptual plan and have a review session with the client.

  • Once the conceptual plan is approved we will finalize your specifications and a price

 

Preparing on Paper

This is the stage in which commitment is made by both Gretl Crawford Homes and you. That commitment takes shape in the following form:

  • Signed contracts and earnest money deposits.

  • Finalizing financing and plan appraisals.

  • Construction drawings are completed and signed off on.

  • The city/county permitting process is entered into and approved.

  • All initial financing is put into place to begin the build.

 

Design Selections

We take our role as leaders in this journey very seriously and are committed to guiding you through the process with confidence and expertise. During this stage of the process, we will begin to bring together the interior and exterior features of the home. Gretl Crawford Homes will provide you with current, on-trend selections that have been hand-picked by our design team.
